i was listening to the radio and Robbie William song came on 'old before i die' it made me think.... i dont really wanna die old tbh, i would like to die young... mayb in my thirties! have i gone mad? or even sooner if that opportunity arises! .......not far off another couple yrs b4 im 30! eeek tht number is well scarey! so guys? Old or Young or Live forever?? although i would live for ever only if my life was happier and that ... i dont get winkles, baggy , grey etc... I just want stay look ing what i look like now, that would b alright!!! lol

We are in the Semi Final of the F.A.Cup next Saturday so if(and its a big if) we win that we'll be in the Final.
If we win that I will happily snuff it.
Hopefully I won't be on here after the middle of May.

All iIwill say is that i'm a fatalist -I am not in a real position to comment so why did i post.?

Anyway -depends on how selfish you are -die old then youre family are attuned to a certain degree to the fact that youre gonna go then they and yourself can prepare for it by spending quality time together.I look after an auld dear across the road and her daughter has a villa in Tuscany -they live in Guernsay -multi doshers-i am well looked after but i love it- -and she was speaking to me today and she said -we are all going out to Tuscany -the whole family-at the end of May -think they are wanting to make sure they all see me before i'm dead -and she laughed -therein lies the difference.

Die young (ish) -life altering and causes the deepest distress you obviously couldnt imagine for the loved ones left behind (maybe you do-i dont know but its a kinda heartless Q -sorry hun)

Amen to that bez-thats what I was trying to say -I was weighing up the pros and cons.

I am a fatalist and i know my card is marked -deffo -couldnt care less when-as long as my family are cared for -and I dont cause them unnesseary distress by not stating evrything in a will..

Hey like bez -says it comes to us all -im not afraid -just want to make sure that everything is clearcut for the ones who are lef behind to deal with my soul.

Sorry -just have to pop back on -all the peeps who are 'young' dont have the perception of 'dying' young and why should you.Then again why should anyone perceive it in a light hearted manner-when perhaps they have personal experience of a life taken way too short.Surely although it comes to us all it shouldnt be posted in a frivolous manner -an no its nothing to to with me -just being Devils Advocate here.
I just dont see whether young or old -it should be posted in such a gung ho manner -sorry -dont mean to be a kill joy-but a lot -not just me -are dealing with grief ATM and seeing this kinda demeans what its all about xx

I don't really have much choice in this one. My doctors have told me that I will be lucky to be alive in 10 years time.I am 40 in 3 months time and I have emphysema.If I were to catch a serious chest infection it could kill me within days.I am at ease with this but my family find it very hard to deal with.The only one of them that doesn't really know is my 10 year old son,he knows i'm ill but not how serious it is.

I was aways afraid of death and often thought about it,i used to frighten myself stupid.10 yrs ago i had a brain tumour and was told that i had a 75% chance of dying during the operation,i had 18hrs to come to terms with this and get my head around it,i went down to theatre at 8am fully expecting never to wake up yet i was fully at peace with myself,since then i never worry about dying and im no longer afraid,maybe its because i looked death in the face.
