Chocalit chip you recently (last week sunday) gave some very helpful informatyion on anorexia / bulemia. I have only just read it today cos I have been offline for a few days.
i don't even know you but am so proud of the way you are improving with confidence eating etc...well done you will get there.
your answer was really illuminating...but now i have another question for you...(or anyone else that can help!)
This same friends daughter (the one who has already been in hospital for anorexia and is having weekly cousnelling ) but her mum is helping her to follow a strict (to the the very TIME and amount etc that she sits down to eat) timetable to try get her to eat . IT is hard but it works (most days but not every day!)...anyway I digress...
her daughter has been invited to go toa concert in london - it means she will be away from home for one night and most of one day. HEr mum wants to let her go cos socialising will improve her self esteem, (very, very shy girl) but is so so worried cos that mean there is no way of ensuring she will eat. HEr mum feels that if she breaks the "daily routine" of set mealtimes et for one day this may be a bbig setback. What do you think? What would you suggest from personal experience?
