my ipod has died rip. it was 1 month old and had a full charge but will now not switch back on, does the standard 12 month guarantee from argos cover me for a replacement? thanks
is there a little hole someware on the said ipod?
this is the reset function, poke a long ,blunt object like a straightend out paperclip and hold for 3-5 seconds.
then try switching ipod on again...
Hello welshwil , I'm not sure about the guarantee , have you asked Argos yet ? I know they don't accept the ipods here on their bring-back offer as they tell you when you buy one . Have you tried every possible way to bring it back to life ? Silly question from me coming up.....have you got the lock on , ie: the orange bar across the top.
Also , have you tried keeping your fingers down on the centre and the menu at menu at the same time ? x
If you do get a refund I'd recommend you steer well clear of iPod's and get yourself a Creative Zen Touch or similar.
The compare far more favourably against iPod's on a Google search.
They should replace it as it is less than 3 months old (it depends if you get a nice assistant) they usually send them away for repair after that. It is unlikely that they would give you a refund though.
I have a love hate relationship with my nano, hate it at the moment, it just crashes for no bloody reason then you can't do anything with it til the battery runs down! It doesn't have an on/off switch it is stupid! I love it though, can't live without it :(
If it dosent take it to an apple shop and they will replace free of charge. No receipt nedde. I got mine replaced and i bought it online from curries. Apple have serial numbers on their system. Good luck and happy podding!!
