Ok, quick question. I live in a small village and there are more pubs here than people. I was doing some, ahem, 'research' recently and found that some of the pubs don't even have condom machines in the toilets. How bad is that? Does anyone know who I see about this? Do I speak directly to the landlords, or should I go to the council or my local MP? In this day and age, we need to be safe, don't you think?

yes but most people should carry them on them anyway. It does amaze me though how there are probably more fag machines than condom machines
hellie, no need to go to such length - I'll bring my own! hehe.
What about chemist shop!! Have you got one of those in the village!!

That's what I hate about villages, everybody knows when you're gonna have nookie!!!

True, 4get, they should. They really should :(
But, it's besides the point isn't it? What about those last minute panics? Or poking the person who forgot to get them and practically pushing them out of the front door? Sometimes the pub is your only option!
It would best to stockpile them!!!
Question Author
Yeah not entirely sure I can take your word for it Richie! ;)

Funny, it was silly o'clock so the pub really was the only option.
I hope that most people dont have last minute panics and are in a relationship where they arent just hopping into bed with anyone from the local pub :-)
Back in the late 40's when I first needed these items, they were sold in chemist shops and gents barbers
( 3 for half a crown ). Not on sale in public houses.
Of course, no AIDS in those days.
But unfortunately you are right and if there were more machines in pubs maybe that would stop stds and unwanted pregnancies. But Im afraid that if they are picking up one night stands then I doubt they think of protection.
wasnt there always aids?
Ha ha listen to me I sound so old, they should sell chastity belts in pubs!!
I believe that AIDS first appeared in the 1980's.
Rock Hudson died of an AIDS related illness in 1985.

Well I feel suitably chastised now 4get :(
That may have been when it became public but surely been around longer than that
4get, you be careful up on that big, high horse, you make heliebobs sound like the village bike.
I wasnt on about hellie now was I, is my opinion about it in general. Who's to say I havent picked up people :-). I just dont see what difference a couple of machines is going to make to people that dont carry them.
In my local theres a machine that sells vibrators.Suppose its an option if theres not a condom machine.lol
yes ours does too hau and jumping willes
I'd be embarassed to use those machines!!!
Especially the vibrator one!!!
helliebobs I wasnt getting at you at all, I dont have that opinion of you at all. x
