Knee... ACL and Meniscus?
0 Answers
I'm due to have an ACL reconstruction on Monday, however a couple of weeks ago i slipped in the bathroom and the same knee completely went from beneath me, since then i havent been able to walk properly or straighten/bend it properly.
My ACL has given way before but i can usually walk normally pretty much straight after it happens but it's never disabled me like this has! I went to A and E he following day and he basically said wait for my operation and since my opertaion date was put back he said that was a good thing because my knee was swollen.
Its still swollen now, will this have an effect on my operation...? SHould they still be able to go ahead?
Any idea what could be causing my knee the pain - i assume it's meniscus as that and ACL injuries usually come hand in hand....?
Anyway, appreciate any help with this!
