How can I find a friend?

When sorting out a cupboard I have found a wedding announcement of a college friend, who was married at the Temple Israel in Johannesburg, S.A . on March 31st 1960.
I have heard nothing from her since, though on the back of the card she wrote 'Will write when I am settled'.
Her name was Delia Freedman, she came from Leeds where her father was a tailor. She married someone called Walter Livingstone.
Does anyone know anything about her, or have any ideas how I can find out what happened to her?
We still have an annual reunion each July in Yorkshire, though we left college in July 1952.
It would be great to have news of Delia to take with me this year!
I know it's a long shot, but I have faith in the Answer Bank Members!

Dot Hawkes is very good at this type of thing and may well be able to help you. I think it might be worth wacking this in geneology as she does a lot of this sort of thing in there.

Sorry that's not much help in the sense that I've no clue about how to do it myself!
