do you think you would need to go on to know if you like someone?

I have been on 4 or 5 dates with a guy, who is a lovely bloke, but im just not feeling anything romantically towards him.

My friend thinks im not giving him a chance and expecting too much too soon, but I think i should be feeling something towards him by now?

What do you reckon?

I think if you were going to feel anything, hun, you certainly would by now. :(
i hated my bf for 2 months before i even started to like him(well he wasnt my bf those 2 months) and how we have been going out for just over three years. i love him to bits and hes proposed. i reckon 5 dates is too soon. try not to measure in how many dates you have. measure in how long you have known each other. it might shed more light. for all i know you have had 5 dates in 2 weeks and you only see each other when you guys go out. basically 15 hours or something... now think urself. would you think 15 hours is enough? but then again it depends on the person too. try taking it slow. it takes more than 5 dates to see both his good and bad attributes.

hope this helps somehow.

I work at the same place as him, so i see him every day. Ive been working there for 3 months and our first date was about a month ago. We dont really chat at work as we didnt want everyone knowing, but i do see him every day and we generally email.

Thanks for the replies :-)

He does make me laugh, but it's got so I don't exactly look forward to seeing him (at work) as it seems he is feeling much more strongly towards me. He text me at the weekend to say he was falling for me.
I would say one date too!

If it didn't do it for you, then it won't!!!
Whooo ....
It sounds like he is smitten ...
Would be kind to dump him now ...if you are ...

Rule 1 - Never sh*t on your own doorstep - Don't date someone you work with.
Fine while it lasts ...but when it goes t*ts up ...you have to see each other every day
Rule 2 - dont sell a car to a friend or family
Rule 3 - Dont eat the yellow snow
13 signs you might be falling for him...

13. When your on the phone with them late at night and they hang
up...but you miss them already when it was just two minutes ago

12. You read their texts over and over again...

11. You walk really slow when you're with them...

10. You feel shy whenever you're with them...

9. When you think about them, your heart beats faster and faster...

8. You smile when you hear their voice...

7. When you look at them, you can't see the other people around
you... all you see is him/her...

6. You start listening to slow songs, while thinking of them...

5. They become ALL you think about...

4. You get high just from their scent...

3. You realize that you're always smiling to yourself when you think
about them...

2. You would do anything for them...

1. While reading this, there was one person on your mind the whole
time.....

if he was then.... give it some more time, it'll work out
For blokes ...it would be a much shorter list.

lol true.

btw does dth stand for does that help?

Depends how old you are and to what extent life's corrupted you.
Psychologists (and they're never wrong!)* say you make a decision on attractiveness within seconds, I'd have to say maybe when you're in your 20s and easily loved and able to bounce back quickly. Once you've found out that love by itself is rarely enough, and that the bloke (or lady in my case) you thought was really special and completely unique, an emerald smuggled out from all the coal. Is actually just another soul, as weak and as fallible as you are.
* I was being sarcastic.

Yes, i was concerned about the whole work thing.

Do you think if i said to him that im not comfortable with dating someone from work, that would be enough of an excuse?
Question Author
