12 Answers
after having what i thought was toothache my dentist told me my teeth are fine but one side is very sensitive.
i brush twice a day anyway but now, at night, i have to rub tooth paste over the sensitive teeth.
does anyone know of any ways of helping my painful teeth during the day?
thanks.

My teeth have become worse and worse - even room temperature water in winter was too cold for me. I switched to Sensodyne. I use 3-4 times a day and at night I don't rinse thoroughly so I leave a coating on them. It took a little time for the level of discomfort to decrease, and if I stop using it, the pain comes back immediately. I use straws for v. cold drinks in summer, and I avoid going from hot to cold in a short period of time. I also let cold food out on the side to "warm up", like salads and raw veggies. I can have everything I used to have again now, just more carefully. Hope this helps.
