Hi, I have a Law Degree and Medical Law Masters. Part of the Med Law Masters included studying clinical trials, pharmaceutical governance, etc. I have recently noticed job opportunities for Clinical Safety Officers. The main responsibility of said role being management of pharmacovigilance activities. The qualifications require sb with a degree is health or biological sciences. I don't have this but my Masters covered areas mentioned above. Does anybody 'in the know' know whether my application would be just thrown in the bin or at least given some consideration for such a role? Sorry for the long question... Any help dearly appreciated! Thanks...
i am not in the know, but to me, person specs are just "wish lists" on behalf of the employers. If they had their absolutely ideal candidate then they would have everything on it, however we dont live in an ideal word. I also think employers are more likely to employ someone with less quals but with people skills, rather than fully qualified but weird
Therefore i would say go for it
