Med Law/Clinical Safety Officer?

Hi, I have a Law Degree and Medical Law Masters. Part of the Med Law Masters included studying clinical trials, pharmaceutical governance, etc. I have recently noticed job opportunities for Clinical Safety Officers. The main responsibility of said role being management of pharmacovigilance activities. The qualifications require sb with a degree is health or biological sciences. I don't have this but my Masters covered areas mentioned above. Does anybody 'in the know' know whether my application would be just thrown in the bin or at least given some consideration for such a role? Sorry for the long question... Any help dearly appreciated! Thanks... (*Sorry to anyone who read this in law but i posted this in both categories as I was unsure which would be the most suitable category)

A 1st. degree in law, plus a Masters's in a field
relative to medicine should be acceptable ++ for
the post for which you are applying.

A medical or paramedical degree is OK, but would such
an individual have a clue where the law is concerned ?

I suggest you go ahead; talk your way into the job, and
emphasise that you are quite prepared to learn the
niceties of the job as 'self development' whilst
'in-service'.

Lesser people have secured more onerous positions,
believe me.
