If you have saved up 200 a month in the past you must be spending the money elsewhere now. You could set up a standing order from your current bank account to a savings account then that would be treated like any other bill. Also look at simple ways you can save like instead of buying lunch out for you and the kids have it at home instead or go to places that are free instead of soft play centres. Any loose change you have put in a box, I do this and when its full I put it in the coinstar machine in the supermarket then get money off shopping! Also any spare money you may have at end of week, put in envelope for those occasional days out. hope this helps!
Work out what you actually spend your money on! Don't smoke or drink at the pub. Don't buy take aways, don't buy magazines or lots of new clothes. How often do the kids have stuff - sweets, little toys, Macdonalds, it all adds up. Trying to save 200 a month for a holiday is pretty unrealistic! You could easily get a trip (even abroad) for much less!
I would like to help you save some money in an area I am an expert in. I can practically get you a wholesale rate for your gas and electricity.
I have saved thousands of people money off their gas and electricity bills. You can view this as an investment which will cost you nothing and a pay rise to put towards whatever you want for the future. I have saved the average household as much as 400 a year, and its something we can do for you instantly.
I look forward to hearing from you.
