it depends on wether u want a natural, subtle effect or a dramatic effect. no matter wot effect u choose u either have 2 make a feature of ure eyes or ure lips and not both.
for a subtle, natural finish use light browns/purple shades of shadow on ure eyes blending ure colours. as a general rule ure darkest colour will be closest 2 ure lash line. to add extra emphasis on ure lashes use a kohl pencil to draw a fine line on ure upper eyelid where the lash and lid meet before applying ure mascara. a light dusting of peach/soft pink blush on ure cheeks but a little goes a long way. lips should b a natural shade. choose a more dramatic lip shade if u only choose mascara as only eye makeup.
for a more dramatic appearance the eyes could be made up with more intense colours eg blending charcoal/dark grey/silver etc. a more prominent line can be drawn with the kohl pencil if u use the more intense colours. highlighter can be applied on the brow bone just underneath ure eyebrow towards the outside edge. a glitter can be applied over ure eyeshadow and lashings of mascara can b used. highlighter or blush applied to emphasise cheekbones. either or suits colouring/choice of dress colour so u should probably choose according to the colour of ure accessories. anything silver-go with the darker colours, anything gold-go with the lighter, natural colours, or incorporate golds/bronzes into ure eyemakeup
