I was pensioned off due to bipolar/manic depression. My mental health is akin to being on a roller coaster.
But compared to being working it isn't such a bad life now.
I do voluntary work in an Oxfam Bookshop and it is great. I actually work with nice people and it is enjoyable and rewarding.
I would love to write a book - but I am too lazy.

I'm a solicitor.
Wanted to be a zoo keeper when I was little as animal mad.
I plan on having my own mini (if not very exotic) zoo one day :)
I wasn't keen on going to uni (didn't have much choice though no regrets now) and wanted to be a paramedic or do mental health nurse training.
Have done lots of voluntary and charity work which kinda helps with my need to help people.
I want to try other things at some point, property investment of my own and would love to try some teaching.
I'm keeping an open mind.

Wolf63, you don't live in Belfast, do you??
I'm unemployed at the mo, through sickness. Well, apparently I'm insane....lol ;O)
I've been doing stupid call center jobs because I thought it was the only thing I could do, as a French-speaker in a foreign country, so I feel like I've wasted too many years doing that. I have a Masters in Politics, and a post grad in translation, but I've had too little confidence to ever try naything more challenging. So this year I'm going to take a teaching course and try to become a teacher of French for adults. :O)
