Reflected UVA/UVB rays

I have a sunbed and I get the usual 'white stripe' down my sides where there are no tanning tubes at the sides of the sunbed. Does anyone know, if I put a mirror on the wall along the side to reflect the rays back onto my sides would the reflected rays still have tanning ability or would it just be reflected light? Hope that makes sense! Thanks.

Ses the UV will be reflected just like it is of the water whilst sailing or of the snow up on a mountain. However, for the natural look try the great outdoors and do keep some clothes on, very few look good naked. Also remember skin cancer .....
If you use a regular mirror, the glass will absorb the UV and you will just get reflected light with no tanning ability. A polished metal mirror should work as you require as the rays don't go through anything before getting reflected.
You should be flipping around in the bed from side to side, not laying still. Sorry, no more nap time. You can even out your sides by laying on them.
Also, try to move your arms so they are at your sides sometimes, and up above your head the rest of the time.

I do move around but there's still an area on both sides that doesn't tan. I'm starting to look like I've got go-faster stripes!!!
