Council House Exchange

I dont know if im in the right section for this question, but i'll ask anyway.
Does anyone know how long you have got to be in a council house before you can go for a mutual exchange, this is the Glasgow area, i dont know if its the same everywhere

Hi Therema, afraid I don't know either if its the same everywhere but a family I work with have just been its twelve months in our area on Merseyside.

Yeah i kinda thought that too, the neighbour we are having bother with has decided she is going for an exchange but she's only been in the house since the 18th Feb this yr, so she maybe just be put out instead. thanx for getting back to me :)
