sore throat!

i have a sore throat and sore ears.. i used a torch to look into my throat there are red bumps on the back wall of my throat, are they meant to be there?
am i just over reacting? lol

The red "bumps" are enlarged and inflamed lymphatic tissue similar to the tonsils. Don't panic they do not suggest serious disease. You either have a viral infection or a bacterial infection. Go to your GP if it doesn't settle.

My boyfriend has the same, he has tonsillitis and i now on antibiotics.
