Laser Hair Removal
16 Answers
I'm considering having laser hair treatment to remove some unwanted hair on my body... well, lots of it in fact. I was wondering, has anybody had this procedure done, and if so, would they mind telling me where they went, and if they are happy with the results? ( I am in London. )
I have been looking into it and it is quite expensive, as they seem to all recommend between 5-8 treatments, and as the area I am wishing to do is reasonably large, it's looking at just over 2000. This I'll happily pay on the proviso that most of the hair will be gone permanently. So, any help/experiences on this would be really appreciated! Thanks a lot.

The reason they reccommend so many treatments isbecause the hair grows in 3 stages and the laser will only work at one stage (I don't remember which). Not even the best doctors in the world could tell you which stage the hair is at, so you just have to keep at it until all the hairs are captured.
With regard to the procedure itself, there's nothing to it nothing to be scared of. The beautician will use something that liig a bit like a rectangular shower head, when she presses the button on this thing, it will emit high heatfor a millisecond. It's not long enough for you to even think "oh, that was hot".
I promise it's not uncomfortable and I can doubly promise it's worth every single penny.
