this is an awful thing to ask but i need to be clear in my head about these things that i have to deal with and prefer honest answers. my 95 year old aunt has a chest infection and has been given antibiotics twice already and now the doctors have said they arent prepared to give her any more, for her just to be given tlc in the home she is in. she is still eating well, im just scared now that she will get pneumonia if the infection gets worse. ive heard cases in homes from friends whove worked in them that the patient has their legs raised so that the pneumonia takes over quicker. she has no life being bedridden and woudnt want to be this way. i live abroad so am expecting a call any day, can i expect it soon do you think? im in 2 minds whether i will have time or not to fly back to see her still alive.
