Read about this today in the mail on sunday.He talks to guys who are straight but have gay sex whilst in prison.Apparently its called being " prison bent ".
Are there any folk out there guys or women who find this a starnge concept/idea?
Surely theres no need for a staright man to have gay sex if hes not gay ?
Is there?
Whtaever happened to masturbation has that been bypassed now?

Very strange in my opinion.
Any views on this?

I think that it is more for the emotional bond than just the physical one that is why it happens although im sure the women waiting for them on the outside would concider otherwise if they knew what when on behind cell doors.

I have to agree with that. The bond and friendships that can be made whilst serving a prison sentence, often turn into something more, whether the person's really gay or not. Having someone to share the frustrations and emotional strain with, is sometimes better than "going it alone".

I always have had the impression that gay relationships were a given in prison. Obviously-it may be unwanted in some cases......but for many it is part of the process of bonding with fellow inmates.

It's called anal sex - not gay sex if they aren't gay - strictly speaking.

Roman men were happy to have sex with both sexes and it was thought quite normal. Apparently, the rule was that it was strictly sexual relief, on no account look as though you enjoyed it too much! So accepted was all this that Romans did not have words to describe hetero or homo sex - it was just sex!

This's true. we had three ex. cons working for us for a short time, as part of their rehabilitation. All three'd been "approached" whilst serving time, and one of them admitted to having a gay fling, even though he'd never crossed that line before. He said it happens a lot.
