Boss hitting collague
14 Answers
I work in a small office for a small company, there is 14 of us including the manager and the supervisor in the office.
Today one of my collagues was on the net when the supervisor came in the office and caught him, at which point he slapped him round the head, hard enough to make his ear ring.
What would you do in thes situation and what would you advise my collague to do?.

Report him immediately to the overall boss and go higher and higher until you get action.
This kind of behaviour is disgraceful.
If the employer will not take action, it is also assault and can/should be reported to the police.

If it was the other way around, your colleague would undoubtedly be sacked. It is assault, pure and simple and must have been pretty hard to make their ears ring. If it goes unreported, they will think that they can get away with it. Disgraceful behaviour from a supervisor! If the manager was in the room, action should've been taken immediately.
Oh thats what that was. You've had me coughing my lungs up Lee.:-)
