I'm turning 40 next year and feel I need to give myself a bit of attention. My skin on my face feels dull and is getting lumpy - are these age or fatty spots some are little white lumps (not spots) and I seem to be developing a large brown mark that is feeling thick and hard on my cheek. My family has sem to have developed lumps and bumps on their face as they have got older is there anything I can do to stop this. Would any type of facials help I have never had a facial so don't know what these do. I would appreciate any help
To clean up and brighten your complexion the best thing is exfoliating. This gets rid of all the dead cells and so exposes skin better to absorb creams etc. You can get all kinds; all depends on your skin type. Personally, as I've got sensitive skin I use PureGlow Deep Cleansing cushions and find my skin a lot smoother and awake. Hope this helps.
I am 40 and my skin is the best it's been for years. Last autumn I developed dermatitis on my face and had to stop using anything on my face for several months, except an excema type cream. I no longer cleanse my face on a daily basis (only wash with water) and only use basic creams. I use a foaming scrub a couple of times a week. I think stripping your face of all it's natural oils all the time isn't good for it. A professional consultation would certainly be worthwhile. I keep meaning to get one but never seem to find the time.
