Commode?

What are those adult potty things called they give you to wee in in hospital called?! I have "commode" stuck in my head but it's not that. They are plastic and likea big flat potty. Any ideas?!

A commode is a portable non-flushing toilet which you sit on.

I think you are thinking of a bedpan as Naomi has suggested.
