if your house was on fire, you're kids and partner are safe and unharmed and you have only two minutes to rescue one item from the house what would you get??

For me it would be my medals, they are a part of me that say who I am and what I've done

Ladies?? would I be correct in saying it would be family photos?

TIA

my cats!!
oh and my laptop and some clothes and shoes!!
family photos are on the laptop
natually I'd have my mobile in my pocket so won't need to grab that
Well my cat isnt an item so that discounts that. It would have to be either the watch my folks bought after graduating or my laptop. My Pc can burn for all I care as I wouldnt be able to carry it. Then again, I would hate to see my Xbox 360 go up in flames.

I have over 500 DVDs but there is no way I would get them down the "apples and pears" in a fire.
my chest of drawers with everything in
how would you carry that in a fire 4get? lol
photos and a file with all important docs in.

I certainly wouldnt save the home office :)
its only a little bed side one. Has all my diaries in and some photos
If my family and animals are safe, then all I'd take is my external hard drive, which contains all my photo's etc. Everything else can be replaced.
mine would be my laptop as I doubt I would have time to unwire my pro-logic system :)
oops I forgot about my 500gb external drive. Fcuk the Xbox and the laptop.

all the tapes and cd's of the kids from when they were babies!
I have a postcard written to me personally by guess who?
Sir Alec Guinness!
I could fit it between my teeth, therefore freeing up both arms for the carrying of both dog and cat.
Assuming my wife and child and cat were safe and each ran out of the house with one of my guitars in each of their hands, then I would opt to save my keyboards.

Mind you they are insured, so therefore replaceable. I guess I would have to go into the loft and get my trophies and cups, especially the British Champion ones and World Champion belts. But I wouldnt risk my life for em.
My dog .
As long as my cats were safe, I'd grab my purse.
save my dog, if she is safe, i save my passport!
My first daughters baby albums. I say my first and not mysecond because I always email her pics onto family and friends so can get them back. Ive yet to scan my first daughters pics so only have the actual photographs which arent replacable.
My beautiful Kona Kula Deluxe specialled up with super Mavic wheels and all the trimmings - very hard to replace now.
