reminds me of the time my husband turned a room off our kitchen into a utility room. The council asked for a completion certificate (or something) and I said in front of everyone at the counter....'oh sorry, my husband did it and he can't give me one' I never realised what I said until there was outbursts of laughter lol

The asian people in the Woolwich (bank) call centre always chat me up its so embarrassing cus I don't know what to say and the people in my office can hear me. Its just like please do not chat me up on the phone when I am calling from work about business grrr

I do bank with halifax actually but I am at work and we have to deal with banks on phone. The asians in the Woolwich are the worst for chatting people up.

Remember the television ads with the large English shaggy Sheepdog - the DULUX Dog. Well, in the middle of a large group of people that I didn't know very well at a rather posh house party, I refered to their pet dog as looking like the DUREX Dog!! It would have been funny amongst friends, but I was so embarrassed and they all stood there giving me funny looks.

Having worked in a Call Centre and knowing how dreadful it is and how pressurised you are and treated like robots, I am never, ever rude to call centre staff on the phone (unless they are rude to me) It's sole destroying!

I can assure you that most of them are only doing the job because they have to earn a living. Most of them hate it!. I always try to be light hearted and nice to them because, I can assure you, it actually does help the job become bearable if someone actually treats you like a human being.

I know I'm always nice to call centre people as long as they are nice to me. Sometimes you can just tell they really appreciate it.

nah, i have no inhibitions, site was so hot one day i worked in my boxer shorts.....

the office stank that day, partly because of teh lack of fabric between my groin and the air...
