Would it be possible for a tattoo artist to do eyebrows? Mine are very sparse after years of over-plucking and although I know they can be done temporarily at a beauticians I wondered if it were possible to have them done as a tattoo.

these days it's possible to do almost anything, and if you have money EVERYTHING is possible.
except time travel!
They seem to last up to 5 years and cost upwards of 300.
There is no apostrophe in the plural of the word tattoo. You (correctly) didn't use an apostrophe in the words 'eyebrows' and 'beauticians' so why did you do it in 'tattoos'?
I believe it is but but I'm sure they would probably look quite artificial. I don't know what age you are and what colour your hair is, but do bear in mind that your hair colour will change over the years and whilst your tattood eyebrows might look appropriate with your hair colour now, this could change and your eyebrows might look very false and out-of-place in a few years time. Why not try the natural route, using plenty of moisuriser and getting plenty of vitamins in your diet and give them time to grow back naturally.? If the tattooist gets it wrong, (as I saw in one case) you couldend with a permantly raised eyebrows look which you might be very unhappy with.
heres the answer i left laughingirl yesterday, hope it helps!

all you need is double sided tape and a trip to the barbers, you dip the tape on the hair shavings, stick tape on your forhead and hey presto! instant mono-brow as worn by oasis frontman liam gallagher!
Thats a bit harsh Lucy.
This isn't an English Grammer topic.
We can't all be good at written english after all.
Well you can get tattoo eyeliner so i think eyebrows are possibly!

But i strongly agree with 'whoever' as hair colour will change and its very risky.

Please try the temporary beautician ones first or even just buy a good quality eyebrow pencil and online search (or maybe ask at the beauticians) for a professional look.

And dont pay attention to Lucy. God forbid if she say the grammer on Yahoo Answers.
Oh sorry Lucy. I meant to say 'saw' in that last sentance :)

Re : 'Bad' Grammar

I was always taught as a general rule
1 item = no apostrophe
more than 1 = apostrophe, hence 2 eyebrows, several beauticians.
I need more than 1 tattoo ergo apostrophe
I don't know who told you that but they are wrong.

The apostrophe is used to denote possession or to replace missing letters.

It is NEVER used to pluralise a noun.
