Imagine we all lived in a courtyard, wandering about aimlessly, until the four demons called, to claim their victims.
They would select their prey, inflicting on them what comes to us all, and leaving the rest of us devastated.
Now imagine that we stood in a circle, holding hands.
The demons will still come, and will still claim their victims, but together, holding hands, well, there's comfort to be had in that.
So, in this lfe, it is better to hold hands, than wander around aimlessly.
So hold hands, by being nice to each other wherever you can, and a cuddle if you can manag it.
We can't make the demons go away, but we can refuse to give in to despair.
Or ................. am I wrong?

No Theland - I think it's a lovely thought. There will be some who will disagree I'm sure but I think you are right.
Nice idea Theland I agree with you, and a very good analogy, but how do you make people hold hands, sometimes those closest to us would far happier wander round dealing with things on their own.
Darn tooting Nox... Plus I like at least three feet square of personal space around me at all times and I only want to hold hands with the attractive men.

I think that makes me aloof yet very shallow! :-D
That's a very nice thought - one that I'm going to cling on to....I get very few hugs these days - but I'm classing this as a virtual hug if you people don't mind...
That's deep for a Sunday morning, just read it a couple of times...

...and...

You're right!
I love the concept.Theland....it actually brought a slight tear to my eye. I too will view this as a virtual hug,and I will try to pass it on.xx
Thank you, I would like to join in too.

Holding hands is all very nice - until the ones you trust to hang on let go. I'm happy to give a hug and a caring ear to anyone who needs it, and for as long as they like, but from my own point of view, people have disappointed me too many times, so I'd rather put my trust in me now, thanks very much.
