I need to store some clothes in my basement which isn't damp, but is an enclosed space so may suffer from lack of air circulating.
Any idea what is the best way to do this? Bin bags? I have lots of those plastic "washing" bags that the bin bags could go in. Any other ideas?

You could put your clothes into those thicker plastic bags that have good seals on them - the sort that you can vacuum the air out of them. I think they are called something like *Vac Packs*.
Definitely something with an airtight seal and you could put some kind of long lasting freshener in with them if you want.

Argos have some...
