Hair Loss

I am thinking of using International Hair Studio to help with my natural hair loss, but I've seen an article saying what they do only works for alopecia areata (patch-like hair loss). Anyone got any advice on 'proper' treatment for natural hair loss?

I doubt the treatment for Alopecia would work for you and probably isn't all that successful with people who have the condition, as it's difficult to treat.
The only thing which will restore your hair are products containing Minoxidil. However, you would have to use them for life, as once you stop, the new hair would fall out.
Other than that you can have a hair transplant. The poular method these days, seems to be the Strip Method, where a strip of scalp is cut from the back of the head and the follicles are harvested from the strip, in their original genetic form, therefore, preventing damage and making it possible to harvest more hairs from one follicle, before replanting into the new area.

I'd agree with Ice.Maiden.
There has never been a better time to be bald - modern women don;t care, and a lot think a bald head is sexy. Take the plunge, go to your barber's and have a Number One, and get it done ever two weeks.
I'm not saying you;ll be thrilled to have no hiar, but at least you are not pretending to anyone, least of all yourself, that you are not loosing your hair, and that sort of confidence is worth having.
Any person who judges you on your heair length is too shallow to bother about, so go with it, and forget any attempts to halt progress. Save your money, and buy some snazzy clothes instead - a much better investment.
