About 10-16 days after the first day of your last period is when you normally ovulate and ovulation is the only time you can get fertile. However ovulation times can vary in each woman so your best bet if you want to try for a baby is to have sex every other day to make sure there are always sperm there in the fallopian tubes ready for when the egg is released.
