I once chatted to a lady who had a fear of balloons... and another who was fearful of clowns.... ok,,,, I don't get either of them but each to their own.
The dentist and maggots, even though they can tend to wounds, and have now been found to have antibiotic properties. I just have to look at them, and I will run a mile, but I am fine with worms, and snakes though.
Dentists have antibiotic properties ? Since when, Jonny ?
Only joking... I know what you mean...
Maggots and leeches have been known for their ability to eat rotten flesh (and leave clean, decent tissue behind) for centuries. You just have to ensure that the maggots (fly larvae) and leeches are clean and not contaminated .
Well, we are on the ball tonight, Jugglering. Okay, I should have said the latter have antibiotic properties. Dentists have the ability to make you very poor; my next trip there will cost me 400, and this is on top of my monthly 17 insurance. I suppose a maggot would be more afraid of the dentist than me, as they all have 2000 teeth. They can also eat 4 times their own bodyweight in 1 day, by the way.
I have a phobia of someone breaking into my house.
I know you're probably thinking, "no that's a normal thing to be quite scared of", but I'm a tad obsessive!
Doors locked ALL the time, can't sit at night unless the curtains are closed (I always get this really weird feeling that there's someone at the window looking in and watching me). Get really jumpy whenever there's a noise outside, I don't sleep well because of it. Won't go in the kitchen late at night (glass door, if someone was outside looking to get in they'd see me through the glass). Often sit awake unable to sleep for thinking someone's going to get in.
Too right tigger! Clowns in particular! I even felt ill after going to see Twisted Sister last year. It was Dee Schneider's hideous makeup that set me dithering. I had nightmares about him!!!
