I had planned a mega lie in this morning as ive been getting up at 5.30 for work and not sleeping very well. Well, our neighbour decided otherwise when he chose to mow his lawn at 8.30. Is it normal to mow your lawn at that time of day?I personally would check to see if bedroom curtains were open or not.And what time at night is it ok to mow?
My neighbour does the same! He's retired so I don't see why he can't do it at the crack of dawn on a week day when I'm up and away for work anyway!
I keep my bedroom window open and this guy smokes but out his back garden, not in his house and quite often I wake up to the smell of smoke filtering through my open window, would it be very rude of me to ask him to smoke out his front door?
hey Hau, my strange neighbour hammers at 1am sometimes. he's just put his house on the market and I'm delighted, so I'm hoping whatever he's doing will increase the chance of him selling up and going!
I too smoke in the garden as i dont want the smell n the house or my daughter breathing it in.
I wouldnt be offended if my neighbours wife asked me not to smoke in the garden, its big enough to move to the other end.If HE asked me though.....................
I wouldnt do that but my husband who is up at 6 every morning even when hes home thinks nothing of hoovering and cuttimng the grass at whatever time -he has no consideration for me nor for my neighbours.
He thinks cos he is up them everyone should be.Bleeding irritating.
He smokes outside as well -but leaves the back door open so the smoke wafts back in -blleding irritating.
Also as my house is on the street I have people stopping to chat outside my livingroom window with no consideration to me having to smell thweir smoke and not be able to hear anything for them -they would be as well being in my living room -I have to say I would never have considered that before I bought this house though so I'll let them off that one. phew -thats better !!
Right, I'll just bite the bullet and ask him to move elsewhere in his garden then, I hope he doesn't take offence and stop taking my bin out every Wednesday! LOL :o) x
lol Dris, glad you feel better after gettin that off your chest.
Lakitu, it really could go either way.Smokers are getting annoyed at not being able to smoke in public places.Your neighbour might think hes even getting grief for smoking at home.
I think there probably is China but this was 8.30.
I was just miffed cos i hadnt had a lie in for ages and any idiot could see my curtains were drawn.
He`s just a very inconciderate neighbour.
