wax crayon ingestion

if a small part of a crayon was ingested would it cause any illness or are they made with this in mind?, (children being the predominant users with a penchant for putting things in their mouth). (this is to settle an arguement, no children have ingested anything other than food here!)

well my friend ate a sizable piece of wax crayon washed down with plenty of wine and she didnt seem to suffer any sideaffects. Maybe she was just lucky though!!

any decent brand of crayons are all branded non toxic so i doubt it would do any harm, kids end up putting worse things in their mouths!
