My mum went to a psychic-medium-type-woman last week and she reports back that the woman said a lot of accurate things, like knowing my name (I don't live with my mum, have the same surname as her or anything like that that would obviously give it away) and knowing that my mum recently took off my late nana's wedding ring for the first time since my nana died (she sent it away to be made smaller). I intend to listen to the tape when I next go home to hear for myself. But I'm also a big fan of Derren Brown who exposes a lot of the 'tricks' people like that use (cold reading and so on). So I remain open minded...

I haven't personally been to see one but my mum did a good couple of years back. I was told not to listen to the tape so I deliberately went and listened to it and the clairvoyant was pretty accurate but not only about the fact that my mum had two daughters (good guess) or about our house or anything. She predicted the future bloody accurately. She predicted me getting pregnant when I was a teenager and our car breaking down. Really weird stuff like that. I think there is an element of truth in some of the stuff these clairvoyants say but you have to go in there and take everything they say with a pinch of salt.

I nkew you were going to ask that question :) No, I think it's all made up cr*p and a waste of money. After all, that's all they do it for. Money.

I went to a medium/clairvoyant after losing both my parents within 18 months of each other.I went to a man via word of mouth,a 2 hours journey.He told me exactly how my parents had passed,what their illnesses were and gave me really private messages that nobody could have known or guessed. He gave my parents 1st names plus my Dads nickname.He even said " Dads telling me he's met Tommo' again" Tom was my Dads mate and had passed on 4 years AFTER my Dad! I gave nothing away as the medium told me NOT to tell him anything.I've been to others over the years but no one has come near that one.I still play the tape now and again.Spainlads,if you hav'nt tried it,dont knock it,there are genuine readers!
