Be careful where you put the tampax if menstruation continues, otherwise the baby will get a mouthful of expanding cotton wool.

It's spelled PREGNANCY, rajib.

And yes, "normal" periods are put to a stop. However, the woman can still experince bleeding, either at the beginning, or even throughout.
