Tossa de Mar - Is it as nice as it looks?

We are thinking of taking a break to there in April. Can anyone recommend it? Also can anyone tell me if it is bursting with Germans? Not that I have got anything against Germans really. I just dont think they are very friendly.

A few years ago i holidayed there when my sons were young ,and wasnt that impressed, found it quite boring,just seem to go up the main street and back again, and went up to castle and that was that, i wouldnt go back, it maybe have changed!!!

The best thing when you're looking about is to go onto the tripadvisor site as these are unbiased opinions of the places or hotels you want to visit.

I'd also like to add that some Germans might seem a bit 'cold' just like the french really but once they realise you're friendly they will be too! It's so easy to be a native english speaker as we get on everywhere and are understood moreorless everywhere where the world is our oyster, it's not the same for everyone!! Give them a bit of breathing space...
