Muscletech Leukic
This is described as the world's #1 selling anabolic activator. I have always associated anabolics with steroids and athelics drug bans but as this is sold in holland & barratt and GMC what is the difference and is it safe? Does anyone know the pro's and con's of this?

I also watched a programme the other day on TV about problems with steroids and body building. It said steroids were popular because people wanted a lot of muslce quickly but that physically most people's bodies are not designed to grow a lot of muscle quickly, they said even with good genes and intensive training and consuming vast quantities of protein the body could only reasonbly gain about 7 Kg(1/2 stone) of muscle a year.
Therefore even though the supplements you mention are obviously legal for sale they may be pointless. They may be little more than high doses of protein, too much of which can lead to kidney damage. Best thing of course is see a GP before starting any major change in diet/exercise.

These are not steroids.
Anabolics is just the process by which tissue is stimulated into growth. This may be through ...
Steroids ... very effective, but very harmful (unless prescribed for a medical condition)
or
Nutritional supplements ... less effective, but also safe.
Don't worry. You can be sure that H&B will have plenty of experts who check all the products they sell before they go on their shelves.
