Who were the people mentioned in the Bible before Adam & Eve?
26 Answers
I`ve also got this question in the Religion topic, worded a bit differently, hoping to get a more enlightened answer. From ChatterBank I just want to see what the awareness level is on this matter. Because most people say, automatically, that Adam & Eve were the first people mentioned. Not to say that enlightened answers DON`T come from ChatterBank! Far from it. It`s just that if I`d asked the simple question on here I could see someone jumping straight in with YOU SHOULD PUT THAT IN THE RELIGION SECTION. And I thought it was too interesting for you lot to miss. Phew! have I explained enough?

God created the animals.
Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found

God did not create the dinosaurs. According to Creationists he created the world 4000 years ago and went to the trouble of burying fossils to suggest the Earth is older and was populated by creatures that never actually existed. Why did He do this? To test our faith apparently. What a twisted, devious God he is!
