Within the last 4 weeks i've noticed that masses of my hair is falling out when i wash it. It never used to so i know its not normal for me.

i have been trying to think of things that may have changed in my life style and all i can think of is:
I came back from holiday 4 weeks ago.

I took my contraceptive pill for 2 months straight without a break and the break was when i got back from holiday.

I dyed my roots when I came back as well.

I started college when i came back....?

How can i stop this, it doesnt fall out when its dry it just comes out in clums when i wash it...i love my hair more than most things ;) help!

(i use redken real control shampoo and conditioner if thats any help)

i had this myself a few months ago. i tried to work out a cause too but couldn't put it down to anything. after a few worrying weeks i found out that it can be a symptom of anaemia. has your diet changed at all recently? may be worth going to your local chemist to get some iron tablets to try. i invested in some multivit and iron tablets.i felt loads better for it generally but can't say it helped hairloss straight away. it was a few more weeks before it stopped.

The doctor told me its probably nothing but offered me a blood test which will test my iron levels so maybe i will get it done then...only thing is my heads now started to itch a bit as well? Thanks for your help #!
