I can't recommend a good route, although I understand the other side of BN is rock climbing territory rather than walking territory.
Although I've bagged a few munros in my time, The Ben is one I have never done. Started it once, but it was a blistering hot day and after about a third of the way up I decided it was not fun at all and turned back.

The one I've done involves starting out from the A82 somewhere near Inverlochy castle, up the valley in a SE direction, eventually cutting up east onto the slopes of Carn Beag Dearg. Thence round the horseshoe via Carn Mor Dearg and onto the main summit, returning via the tourist path back to Glen Nevis.
