I also have really awful heels, wot exactly is the prob? i get pure big think skin that kills when i walk, expecially in flat shoes. Theres this razor type thing u can get that peels the skin right off!!! sounds horrible but its so amazing when it just falls right off!
Last year I had painful heels for about 3 months, The Dr hadn't a clue what it was, he did not think it was a SPUR. I cannot tell you how much it hurt to walk, but pleased to say one day it suddenly stopped and has not returned. Sorry its not much help to you, perhaps yours will go away too. Hope so. LOL
Its called beer-foot. Both myself and my boyf suffer this after a good night out. Seriously, try Party Heels. Its a gel pad which eases pain on the heel. Available in most shoe shops now.
hi, i also had severe heel pain. i went to my doctor and was diagnosed with fallen arch syndrome, and heel spurs. if your feet hurt worse or feel stiff after sitting then this could be your problem too. i got to the point where i couldnt hardly walk before i went to the doctor, dont wait to long it only makes it worse. hope i helped a little
Physiotherapist > The problem is most probably a Calcaneal Spur. It happens when the bone of the heel (Calcaneus)forms like a parrots beak that pierces and irritates the flesh of the heel. This causes an inflammatory reaction. Treatment > Antiinflammatories , Contrast baths (15 mins), Ultrasound 1Mhz 10mins 1.25Wcm3. It should disappear. If it doesnt a coricosteroid injection should do the trick. Avoid hard soled shoes, high-heels and rough terrain. Rest. Buy Silicone Heel pads. If it doesnt work - shoot me!
