no idea, but if you visit Gladsone Pottery Museum in Stoke on Trent they have an exhibition building devoted to sanitary fittings over the years and one of the more unusual appliances is a wall mounted ladies urinal, very similar to a gents but with a more protruding bowl.
Well I'm one who does ... sometimes :-) Ususally first thing in the morning and occasionally at other times. Still, as my prostate has been slightly fried (radiotherapy), sitting can be faster and more comfortable sometimes
My other half sits down but only at home due to the aforementioned hygiene issues. Worse still, he stays sitting for ages - long after the pee has finished- to read my womens mags!!!!!!!!

It's not that I'm missing the pot but the ricochets that bounce back on to the floor and radiator
I think this is a hygene issue
