I've recently started taking Simvastin tablets, on the packet it says to avoid grapefruit & pineapple, but I like to have a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it in the morning - should I be drinking this, or should I avoid this as well ?
Thanks in advance

Spreeny - you don't say whether you have been prescribed statins by your doctor - if you have not then I would refer you to http://www.saga.co.uk/healthyliving/medicinean dsupplements.statins-case-against. Grapefruit has an adverse effect on many medicines, but I have never heard anything about lemon juice or pineapple.

Hiya spreeny - my take on it is, if you weren't allowed lemon, the packet would say to avoid grapefruit, pineapple and lemon
