Can parrots smell garlic?

I have recently had a lot of garlic. One of my parrots, who gives me a kiss every day, is turning his back on me and won't give me a kiss.

Do you think he can smell the garlic and it's putting him off?

PS: This is a serious question, honestly it is.

no experience with parrots,but they prob.can smell garlic,& as with people,some like the smell others don't.Bigs budgies liked cheese

If the parrot squarks "Dirty French Bastad" then you know it`s the garlic

If not, maybe he`s gone off you and turned gay...perhaps he prefers a c0ck or two

Pink, me little pixie ..... he's a sulky bird and sometimes he gets a strop on if he sees me petting his buddy. Parrots do tend to be jealous creatures, ya know!

But I really pong at the mo and I wonder if he can't stand the smell.

Me bro's still in some discomfort but it's early days yet. Thanks for asking lass.

Parrots have a poor sense of smell, but garlic, yes, it is enough to make anyone call out for a cracker.

wildwood's an early bird!(sorry),bigs'd gone off(to fit a tank) but came home,so noise's broken out again,plus builders here so befuddled.the deliCAT is quieter.
