Builders WHY 7.30am

I,v got the builders in doing a job . my question is why the Hell do they have to start work at 7.30am . Its only just getting light . why can't they start a 9.00 like most civilized people

so they can stop for breakfast at 8.30. If they didnt start til 9 theyd only have 2 teabreaks and elevenses before lunch and that wouldnt be enough to keep them going to afternoon tea!

Think positive, if they say 7.30 there is at least a very slight chance they may turn up lol

Surely that's a good thing, they'll have the job finished quicker?

Having said that I get up at 5.30 every morning so I don't really class 7.30 as particularly early.

Be grateful they turn up at all!!!

oh I know that they are going to turn up because they ring me at 6.30 am to tell me that they are on there way .
its still dark and the house is freezing at that god forsaken hour . there mad !

they went home yesterday at 4.30 as they wanted to use up all the cement they had mixed

That's one thing I hate about having decorators in.

Our one used to ring the doorbell just as I was turning over in bed! I'd have to fly down to the front door looking like I'd been up for ages, then put the kettle on!

we have just had the builder in and he worked
8-5 ..with no lunch break ....he did a brill job ..
nice having him there but sooooo nice when
it was all finished ...

I wish the auto electrician I have got working here could get his @rse in gear like that, he rolls up around 10am, he classes that as early...:S

Our decorator is brilliant, he even hoovers up around him before he leaves.

the stupid thing is this morning when they arrived it was raining so they sat in the van for 90 minutes reading their news papers The Sun/News of the world

I suppose they were talking about football and the ti*t on the page three bird !!!!!!!!!!

Our builder was a clean as he could be ..
and he put dust sheets down ..and used
a dustpan and brush ..he is a man on
his own and lives on his reputation ,we
couldn't fault him ..
We had a sparky here ages ago and he
tied his horse to the gate post !!! He was a
real cowboy but you live and learn ..
