For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.They will see how many breaths per minute the baby is doing and whether he is struggling at all, they will apply a blood oxygen probe to his foot or hand to measure the level of oxygen in the blood. They will see if there is any blueness around the mouth or on finger and toenail beds which would indicate him being cyanotic. If any of these tests give cause for concern they will then investigate further with blood and urine tests.Obviously they will also listen to the baby's lungs with a stethoscope for any signs of wheezing or infection. I hope the baby is ok.x
