Weekend Moderation + Apologies

Hello folks,

I'm just quickly nipping on here to apologise for this weekend's moderation.

I (the official Ed) haven't been moderating this weekend, so it was left to my colleague who has taken a rather heavy handed approach to the job.

I would like to apologise to those who have been left in the dark over this weekend, I'm currently running through the people who have been banned and shouldn't have been i.e:

Daniela
Legend
Sir.Knobby

With a few more to come.

I'm sure you can appreciate that there are A LOT of emails in my inbox at the moment, but I'm working through them as fast as I can.

To sweeten things up we're going to be having a "Post of the Week" competition, running from today until next Monday. We'll be judging the quality of the posts, who get the most genuine and valid responses etc and whoever wins will receive a case of wine! Any subject is up for discussion (within reason) apart from how much you hate the temporary Ed!

Poor boy.

If I could give you all a case I would, but I think it would blow our budget!

Thank you all for being patient over the last few days, I promise you I'll be working non-stop to rectify this weekend's goings on!

I forgot to say that all "Post of the Week" threads must be put into AB Polls!

It'll be much easier to keep track of them there.

Ed - I don't wish to tell you how to do your job but you should be monitoring legend closely, especially his use of psuedo foul language.

Could you please explain why he allowed multi-user names to allow him to overpost while others are banned for overtposting?
