Another bathroom question

Further to the below question, my bathroom is kind of cold looking due to the lack of decor.

Am trying to think of the best colour to paint the left hand wall white (currently a boring dirty white) to suit the white tiles and the flooring which I can't change (flat is rented) to make it look all nice and warm and cosy.
I can then get some nice mats and such to match.
Any suggestions?
Thank you :)

Lol, yes just the bathroom pic was mine, hate to imagine what else came up!
Ooh that's a lovely colour Ethel, I do love yellow, just not sure whether it would go with the flooring though am tempted to ask if I can cover it.
Warm terracotta sounds lovely too, am looking for a nice warm feel to it as it always seem quite cold at the moment as it is.
Thank you for the suggestions :)

hi, heres a wee tool where you can try different paint colours on walls
http://www.crownpaint.co.uk/colour/454/gallery -white.htm
see which ones look good in dayling and/or night time its pretty cool
you could have a lilac colour on the left wall, or a chinese jade, white is nice for brightness but a bit stark?

I was looking at the sherwin-williams site and i came across the color hearts of palm. It is a very nice spa green color. it is soothing, warm, and complements the white very well. I can see it successfully paired with tea light candles on little wall sconces. http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/
Hun - small can be beautiful. I've seen some lovely bathrooms that make that one look quite large!!! Everyone has different ideas, but when I was living in London, we had one very similar to yours. I put up a double shower curtain and tie backs, in a mulberry-coloured fabric, with a matching latex-backed carpet. The transformation was immediate. with some pink and cream fluffy towels, the room looked warm and attractive. We also stood a tall slim vase in one corner, containing dried flowers and bullrushes (Hobbycraft). The idea of a carpet in a bathroom doesn't appeal to many these days, but you can get some which's easily washable, and one that'd fold up to go into your washing machine. Everyone used to comment how nice the room looked when they walked in.
