i like someone at work but i havent been with the company long. I dont know if they like me back as i dont get to see them much. Im leaving the job soon but havent told anyone yet...I need to know how this guy feels soon but not embarrass myself ...and i dont want him telling other colleagues what should i do to let him know i like him but secretly?

ive been in this situation if you are leaving then you wont see him again anyway so just go for the kill, say casually to him hi i wont be working here much longer could we go for a drink or have lunch? all he can do is say no and then you wont have that "what if" thought nagging away afer you have left some blokes like the direct approach good luck

I agree with bobtheduck, please don't leave & regret never taking a risk. I was in the same situation except that he was the one who moved on, & even though I made a big effort to talk to him on the day he left, I couldn't say how I felt. Some time later we met up at a party (but were in relationships) & he told me that he'd felt the same too. Lesson learned :-(. Good luck! Please tell us what happens.....
Once you hand your notice in go for it. Alternatively invite him to your leaving drinks and try it there.

i was temping in an office...but i think if i email him someone he works with will see it as his computer is facing many colleagues...cheers for the idea though..i think i might say im leaving soon and i'd regret not asking him out for a drink after work
