Because: Your body recognises that it has been poisoned and is trying to get it out of its system. Your inner ear is disabled leading to lack of balance, and a form of motion sickness.
I'd be inclined to agree with the previous answer - either you drink to excess, which is in effect alcohol poisoning, or your chosen tipple disagrees with you. Try drinking one particular type of drink, and avoid mixing drinks which can cause adverse reactions in the most seasoned tippler. On a lighter note - as far as the motion sickness - that occurs because alcohol erodes the balance mechanisms in your ears, but don't panic, next morning two little men will arrive with hammers, chisels and drills and repair it for you as soon as you wake up!
As an exercise try not drinking anything for a week, and still going to all the same places.....trust me, its an eye opener.

Personaly i never throw up after drinking. The last time i did due to alcohol must have been over 3 years ago. It may be due to the way your body works. In short you could just be a total lightweight. Try stopping drinking for a while or just cut down on the amount of alcohol you consume. Surely you must be able to have a few before you throw up?
