Headset for Telephone
4 Answers
I am borderline nearing hearing assistance but have escaped for now but have some problems with hearing people on the phone at work.
As it's a big part of my job am considering getting some kind of headset which makes the sound clearer for me and maybe helps block out surrounding noise to make it easier to hear.
Does anyone know where I can get a good by reasonably priced one?

My Dad is deaf as a post and I lent him my BT converse 1200 phone because its got an amplifier built in, you can adjust the volume on it and use it as a normal phone (but louder!) or attach a headset if required and switch between the two.
It doesnt always get the best reviews, theres one made by Geemark (I think) that gets better write ups but he couldnt get on with that one.
If its for work Id check with your techies that you can just plug in a normal phone, I dont think they work if youre on a switchboard?! :-S
